Jazz festival in Skógar
20. - 21. July 2024

Jazz under the mountains, the annual jazz festival in Skógar will be held for the twenty-first time during the weekend of July 20. - 21. This year the concerts will take place in the Freya Café in the Technical Museum in Skógar. Admission is free of charge and guests can come and go as they please during the concerts.

Previous festivals in Skógar have received good reviews. The festival is a unique opportunity to enjoy good and varied music in proximity to Iceland's beautiful nature.

Saturday, July 20 at 15:00 - 17:00

ES Sextet and Marína Ósk

Well-known songs from the swing years will be played, but also from the decades that followed, together with original material by Marína and other band members.

Sunday, July 21 at 15:00 - 17:00

Majken Christiansen Quartet

Majken Christiansen is one of Norway's most popular jazz singers. Magne Arnesen plays with her on piano, Andreas Dreier on double bass and Thorsten Ellingsen on drums.
