Sonic Spectral - Exhibition - Artist Sigurður Guðjónsson.

September 14 - December 22
Opening of a new installation Sonic Spectral by Sigurður Guðjónsson on Saturday 14th of September at 15:00.
Sonic Spectral is a vibrant totality, ever-changing, yet stable and consistent. The work activates and interacts with the space, creating a perceptual whole. By walking around the space and creating new viewpoints, we not only create moments but a passing that can give rise to contemplations on time and rhythm. This ambiguous thing before us is both accessible and deceiving, obvious and hidden. The work raises questions about surface and image, about item, material, movement and perception.
The exhibition will be open until December 22nd. 2024.

Sigurður Guðjónsson represented Iceland at the 59th Venice Biennale 2022. He was awarded the Icelandic Art Prize for Visual Artist of the Year in 2018 for his exhibition Inlight, organized by the ASÍ Art Museum.
