Pakkhús is a restaurant overlooking the harbour in Höfn í Hornafjörður, southeast Iceland and just beside the new information centre in town. The menu emphasize on local ingredients from the area around the Vatnajökull Region. The house is two storeys where on the 2nd floor is the restaurant which takes 60-100 people seating, depending on the kind of event taking place. On the 1st floor is comfortable waiting area that is newly renovated.
On the menu are local ingredients like langoustine, fish soup, lamb, salted cod, duck & pork, and langoustine pizza.
Pakkhús is open everyday from 12:00 22:00
Unfortunately we don’t take reservations due to number of reasons.
On the lower level of the restaurant is a bar and cozy waiting area.
